I heard some amazing tune with Bjork vocals this weekend & I really enjoyed it. I was wondering, how many mixes with Bjork vocals are thier & also which artist have worked with Bjork in the past? List whichever tunes you know of, I would like to check any out.

I don't think that Bjork is the artist to go for if you're into trance. She has co-operated with Matmos,Herbert and Thomas Knak aka Opiate on her latest album, but these artists have more of a experimental/techno style. But hey,if you like this, then go for it.It's still great music, and virtually everything that Matthew Herbert has his hands on turns into gold.
But if you like progressive, you HAVE to check out the Brancaccio & Aisher-remix of "All Is Full Of Love".She provides some mindblowing vocals on this remix.Beautiful tune.(Oh,and PM me if you find a full rip btw;)) |

JayD-
you're probably talking about:
D.U.G. - The Anchor Song
it has 2 mixes, mix 1 is the better mix
picked up this white label a few weeks ago. the vocals work really well. don't know any other tracks with her though... |

I have some Drum & Bass mixes of earlier Bjork works.
Also there is a David Morales Remix of "Big Time Sensuality", a Underworld remix of "Human Behaviour", Darren Emerson mix of "I miss you", and others.
But trance mixes? |

The thing is I've alwayz loved her style and alwayz wondered how her vocals would sound with a well thought out quality dance tune, and then I did. So I'll be checking these out. |

| My brother said that Bjork was on one of my mixes of Southern Sun, I'm not sure which female that was, and I wouldn't know ...but find any remixes and check it out. *shrug* |

If you like this kind of , check out DJ Fire's latest called 'Jetlag.' It has that haunting female vocal sample, very similiar to his 'Ulan Bator' track from a few months ago. DJ Fire is 1/2 of Fire & Ice, but you probably already know this. I'm just giving my boy Jurgen his props. Peace.

heheh, i know a song that i think has bjork in it. its track 2 on dazzle- freedom 3, but i dont have the tracklist. here's some of the lyrics:
...tried to grow a mermaids tail,
'cause here's a lot of danger.
the great big sharks with long sharp teeth,
would love to catch a stranger.
and i know i dont belong down here,
i guess it'll always be the same...
or somethin like that, lol
does anyone know that song? or know if its bjork?
its funny jay, i was going to ask you about that song a bunch of times om icq but i always forgot heheh. and i agree, i think she has a cool voive for trance vocals...

"under the water"? that's a prog-house tune from Brother Brown, featuring Frank'ee. it was released in 1999 under the Yooshi label. it goes like this...
"i can't breath here anymore.
it's been like that for a while.
everything seems strange to me.
i feel like a newborn child.
and i know i don't belong down here,
i guess it's always been the same.
i wish i wouldn't have to fear.
under the water, under the water,
you, you left me drowning.
under the water, under the water,
you, you left me drowning." |
