Jack Moss - Regressive House [Melodic Progressive] (pg. 4)

You know, I kinda had a feeling that this set would sound very.... I dunno... typical, for lack of a better term. I thought it might sound generic and uninspired. I gave it a shot based on your other sets though, and I was gladly proven wrong. I've listened to this set around 5 times now and enjoy it very much each time.

The placement of the breakbeats and "Couleurs" was just spot on. Maybe this kind of stuff would be more popular these days if DJs kept on building their sets the way you did here.

Fantastic job, will be keeping this one around. :)

I didn't hear one track that I didn't like, one that really hit me was Fieldox - Uriel, love these kind of trancy breakbeats

Thanks. I ing love Fieldox too. Definitely one of my tracks of 2009. I couldn't believe what was coming through my headphones when I first heard it.

@david.michael: Thanks a lot, it makes me really happy to hear that. I know how you feel, because a lot of the time when I hear new progressive house I find it all very uninspiring.

Very good stuff. Thanks for posting it.

Sorry I didn't get around to commenting until now, I actually checked this out a week or two ago and have been playing it in my car a lot since then. Very nice set, and it shows that good melodic synthy prog is still around today. Low point for me was "Couleurs," just never really liked that track much in spite of other people raving about it. All the rest I found quite enjoyable.

Thanks for listening. I'm surprised you don't like Couleurs. I think the original is just brilliant and Sasha (or Charlie May, really) club it up in just the right ways.

It's odd because I love most of what M83 does, but not that track.

Just downloaded, will listen tonight. Looking forward to this after all the comments I've read :)

I thought I had commented on this, sorry.

Yes, definitely an excellent mix. The 'old-school' vibe is strong. I really liked the track around the 53 minute mark in this respect. The mixing was good, the flow exemplary and the tracks pretty much my kind of thing.

Great work, as usual.

Thanks. I'm guessing you didn't listen to Invol2ver? The track at 53 is Sasha's remix of M83, and I was actually unsure about dropping it because I thought everyone would know it.

I loved your Epic House Trilogy so was keen to check this out.

Really enjoyed it mate and as usual have picked out a couple of tracks which I will definitely buy. Pick of the bunch for me was Oceanlab - On A Good Day (16 Bit Lolitas Remix). Such a relaxing track.
Great to hear a M83 track in there too.

Definitely in, miss that prog sound...

I personally think there is some amazing prog being put out these days; what makes you say this out of curiousity?
