I was a little disappointed that he didn't incorporate that somehow. I guess it wouldn't have been consistent with the style of his set last night, but I figured he had some housier remix or would layer it over one of the more percussive tracks.
Oh well. Still a good set. Kind of a sketchy crowd, is it always like that on Fridays? |

Good question. I asked a few people but like me, they're Saturday regulars and didn't know. Had to give Friday's crowd full marks for enthusiasm though, I got in by 12:30 and the dancefloor was already very full and solidly moving.
Porter's set was a short and sweet 2 hours. He's one of the few djs I've seen that thrives on shorter sets, I was hoping he'd treat us to a 3+ hr Porter "marathon" but oh well. He did play a very upbeat and just downright fun set and I'm glad I ventured up to the front to dance my feet off. |

| I didn't think it was that bad sketch wise. There's definately been worse weeks at footwork. |

Great shots in general, but you should trying getting more ambient lighting in your portraits/group shots...
some of them look like being shot in a cave.:p
crank the aperture to the minimum (fastest) and boost your iso settings.

fastest aperture and high iso?? What digi-camera do you use??? I still shot film and can get pretty decent results pushing film up to 3200...
May be you can try smaller flash with different directions...just a thought... or flash in the hand from various angles... |
