LOL OK I admit it did scare me a bit but I chose not to add you because we had little artists in common. I'm not the type of person who is an annoying lingering intarweb friend on a social networking site with nothing in common. I usually only try to add people that might have similar interests so I can see what they are listening to but because you're special I'll make an exception.

Funny, I tend to add people whose taste in music is different from mine: that's how I learnt about many of the genres I now like :)
And because my taste in music is very peculiar, I don't have many people to choose from in case I try to do that - I think Gauss is the only TA whose taste in music is somewhat similar to mine. |

You do make a good point but I guess I'm not as "fully" open-minded as yourself. It has taken me quite a few years to progress from dutch cheddah trance to a more wide and broader taste and that only happened by being introduced to gradual variations each time as opposed to being introduced or bombarded with a completely new concept or genre like a slap in the face. |
