Drug Testing

So I've been contemplating whether or not to post this thread on here for a while, seeing as I've been reading up on this nearly every night for a week online. I know my when it comes to things like this, but I just wanted advice gained from experience, and, well, TA is the place to go for such endeavors.
I just scored an awesome job in NY and I start the 24th of this month. Part of the 'pre-employment' process is to submit to a drug screening. Once I was officially offered the job in mid-April I quit smoking bud cold turkey, after quite sometime smoking. I was 100% clean up till May 18th, when I sparked a bowl with a friend as sort of a graduation present to myself. Other than that though, nothing. (It was complete herb too, shwagyyy stuff, didn't even get high)
Throughout my research I found out that my future employer uses a standard 5-string urine analysis. Now, I'm a large dude, 6ft2in @ 260lbs. I work out every once in a while, eat healthy, and have been laying off the booze for the most part for about 3 weeks now.
Given the information, and the fact that come Aug 24th (my likely test date) I'll have been totally clean for 98 days, I am assuming my odds for testing negative for THC are quite good. However, I've read that detection times vary between 3days to 11 weeks. I'm just not sure what to expect.
I'm planning on self testing myself next week once I get back to the U.S. to see for myself, but does anyone have any advice/insight? |

If you're that worried go to a head shop and buy detox. Work out, Drink lots of cranberry juice and water, and stay away from drugs until the 24th lol. I heard drinking vinegar works too but that is really nasty so I think you're better off using detox (look them up to make sure you're buying one that works).
I read online that it takes chronic users a month to be THC "free". But look it up because I maybe wrong. You said you haven't smoked since the 18th of May.......if that month thing is right then you should be in the clear....but do everything I mentioned above if you really are paranoid lol. |

| easiest way to bypass this is to simply take the test *while* on drugs. |

| i passed a pee test when i got a job my senior year of high school and i had just smoked 2 days prior. i drank nothing but arizona green tea (almost 4 gallons) in a span of 2 days. i was practically pissing water by the time i had to take it. no one ever said anything and i got the job so i guess i passed lol |

same. i smoked a week before i took a drug test, and drank lots of water until then.
nobody said anything, but then again it was a retail job and they probably didn't care that much :rolleyes: |

Hair is 3 months for pot, even then they only lop off the last 3cm or so for testing.
He is not being hit with future molecular scanners... |

LOL, but I mean actual polygraph tests. Most companies here are adding them to their hiring process. |
