Isn't it amazing?!?!

It's this old railway /turned park in the Meatpacking District. They have all these chairs connected to old tracks and inbetween the tracks they have cute little flowers & trees.

They also have these neat - stadium-style seating facing the avenue so you can sit and watch cars go by. (not many do go by - still!)

Has anyone else been? It just opened up.

Some of my pics (I am not EnigmaT here so forgive me) haha

I remember when they were building that, or rather, setting it up or whatever. It's always nice to see new grass and flowers or trees in a city Thanks for the pics. looks nice

Def.

You can be directly infront of ChelseaPiers, Pier 54 and we saw a Cruise ship sail by.

It is very cute. I love the stadium seating facing the traffic. :) Its such a cool idea.

Looks interesting. I will def check it out next time I am in the area. What intersection is this on?

it runs from gansevort (sp?) till 20th st and 10th ave.

I got off on 14st ACE line (8th ave) and walked there. They have an entrance on 14st too.

just got home
deff a cool/unique spot in nyc
lots of people takeing pictures and drawing the skyline
people were laying out takeing the sun
it just felt crazy being that high up and walking around nyc looking down on it and being the same height as some of the buildings
i like how they still kept some of the train tracks on the ground to show you where they ran threw
if they really wanted to mess with peoples heads, they should have made the floor glass so it looks like your walking on air ha ha
but yea on a nice summer day like today its a cool spot

I think the closest subway line is the 8ave line.

So take the A,C,E and get off at 14st. That's what I did. I don't know if Andrew did something different.

It must be beautiful with the sun going down. I love the fact that the park is like... upstairs. Very unique. :D Would love to go again this weekend and sip some frappies.
