This does not translate well case by case though. I don't go around saying "I'm right, you are wrong". At most, I'm guilty of saying someone is wrong because they act like a dumbass. Its not even the "wrong or right" part of it that seems to be the problem. Remember what the issue is, I post something, people feel the need to argue about it, and 10 pages later the thread is all but gone. I suppose for myself, I need to work on not responding to dilweeds. I have no problem admiting I'm wrong on things, ive been wrong a few times, acoustic treatment thread, bitrate, and yeah, even part of the latency issue. But i'm not going to admit that to an .

Fair enough, your opinion is your opinion, but presenting misinformation as fact is probably not the way to go about handling that.

I agree, but this happens because you say things that are false, and when confronted, you continue to argue your point (as do they... but, they're right...lol). |

The only difference is, "theirs" is to prevent the spread of misinformation (at least, it was initially... sure, now it's probably out of pure annoyance).

Mods arent really necessary. Just dont involve yourself in threads that you think are stupid or that someone is obviously trolling in - its not that hard really.
People that are on these forums long enough know the difference between the people who are spreading misinformation and those who arent. |
