:) Jay. It's just fun to rib people, cos unlike some (lets say, americans) they can take it & give it back in great order :p
I'm a caps fan cos I like quick hockey & cos Ovechkin was one of the people used to show me how 'good' hockey players moves could be at the time. Blame my brother & his fiancee :D |

the problem with federalists and separatists is that many (not all of course) associate blindly with their hearts without knowing all of the issues and possible repercussions. (kind of like much of the idiocy that can be attributed to some people with both the democratic and republican parties in the united states. they are one or the other for life no matter what the platform, which is retarded imo).
I prefer to see what both sides have to say and what they have to offer. If ever it becomes abundantly clear to me that Quebec will prosper more on its own than in Canada, i will vote Oui sans hesitation.
Both sides have good points that are relevant to what i would want. None have convinced me to make a hard choice just like that.
In such a big country it is hard to effectively govern in everyone's best interests. The people of vancouver, calgary, winipeg, toronto, montreal, halifax and so on all have very different needs and are very different from each other due to large gaps in population in the huge distances between urban centers.
I do believe that the government should be decentralized with more power given to ALL provinces to better serve the needs of constituents. Ottawa is a failure at that. |

here's some none english signage in the 8th most visited city on earth: Cancun, and mostly infested by mono-lingual americans. I took those a couple of years ago, i'll pay attention to the parking signage over there on my next trip (sept).
Would you ignore that stop sign even tho it doesn't say "STOP"?

Would you mess with that box even though it does not say "Danger"?
Would you park here if you don't ask around if you're permited or not?

brasilero and Adam420 are just francophobes, that's the main issue at hand. |

| I'm a separatist, but not for language reasons, but because ottawa is such a failure and the federal govt so useless while being a taxation hog that my choice is pretty clear. |
|

| being a separist how do you feel on my stance of the issue posted above out of curiosity? I know that you are a pretty hardcore Oui guy. |
