Help out 2 mates coming for GKGG

| well, as most of you know Me and my GF (Twilogoddess) are coming over for gkgg and are going to be in London from the 25th to the 31st of July. We were wondering if any of you knew about deals for hotels during that period in London. I was planning on staying in the Hyde Park area but anywhere near the center of town will do. Also I ask if you guys know about the train schedules and prices for the train from london to stratford for gkgg unless someone is willing to drive some USTA's ;) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you UKTA's and look forward to meeting most of you. :) |

Ouch, staying in the centre of london is going to be some serious pocket damage!
look in the 9th page of the thread for GKGG at the top i dug out all the info i could think of about travel, tickets, location, etc for GKGG and put it in a big post, take a look. The coaches there are VERY cheap and probably your best option, and most of us are going by that method! |

| centre of london aint a very nice place 2 stay like m8. in general london is a bit of a twat of a city. and loads of minoric (or major) ethnic communities, which i do not feel comfortable being "on their turf." im sure that that whichever airport you are going to has its own hotel, or one that belongs to it nearby and that you could book that, but im not 100% sure. i also reakon coach would prolly be easiest from london, also would probably be easier 2 meet a couple of us lot before you get inside so that u have an idea of us and we would try and help u blah blah im tired and talking .... :crazy: |

| Central Londons fine i.e highly policed and secured, just watch out in South and East London the rough parts, either way reds from New York he's seen it all before I bet. We had a plan aswell well me simmo and a couple of others of meeting up in Brum (Birmingham New Street train Station) and getting a train down to stratford, and a shuttle or a taxi to Long Marsden, your free to tug along with us lot, just ask and we'll give you our mobile numbers so you can get hold of us once your there, and just watch the space and we will name a spot and a time to meet up in Birmingham. |

| I stayed at he Hilton in London (the smaller one near scotland yard) about 18 months back, 2 rooms, 4 ppl, £25 each for one night, posh treatment, and if u actually talk to the staff behind the bar they give you free drinks, which is nice :) |

| ok, im booked at the best western in paddington court. good location very cheap. 50/person, now I need some club nights to look out for. Obviously GKGG is set but I need some good places around london although i dont know how much time i will need to recover after gkgg lol. Lets get some meetups going for this. I know its 19 pounds from london to gkgg but its cheaper if we book a group coach, how about a ta coach from london, who is down for that??? we need to get moving on this soon. it will be july next week and then its only a matter of time before the gkgg craziness. |
