No - check my earlier posts - I don't think they were great at all (they weren't that bad though either) but at least you wouldn't have paid nearly double what I did, that's all.

How much do you think is a fair price for entry this past Saturday night?

oh well, if there's one thing I'm learning from reading the "after the party reviews" of this thread, its that you can't please everyone, even when it was a great fn trance night! :D :D :D

im sorry for those who don't like Norin & Rad. They kind of remind me of Kristina Sky when she first started. a lot of love & hate reviews.

one thing I'm curious about from those who hated Norin and Rad's set is, what exactly did they do wrong? was it the track selection? mixing? I don't get it, there has to be a legitimate reason. (I would hope...)

And to Dave T : Yeah dude, of course locals should hype and support their up and coming favorite local djs! I mean, doing otherwise would be stupid. Any community who doesnt do that would find themselves w/ out local djs. They would all simply gtf out of that city or area! I know I would!

But yeah, to loop it all back, the biggest truth out there in club/music land is that you can't please everyone all the time. ! :D
DaveT
As long as people keep feeding these locals false-positive feedback, then where's the challenge for the DJ to improve himself. I know DJs who can't mix worth a damn (like myself!!) who think they can mix with the best of them (which I, nor them, can!) when they are farrrrrrrr from it.

It does those DJs no good if no one sits there and tells them issues they have with their mixing, programming, etc.

IMO, I had a good time....although I was sooooo immensely sick that night...and still currently am. I still felt the vibe was good and all. For me it's always fun at Circus both as an attendee or performer. =D

also...I will have to agree with DaveT. ALthough hearing compliments about mixes and stuff are great. But there will never be any thought of improvement if one doesn't realize it. Although I'm always hard on myself. But criticism is always good...as long as they include "why"?

I was just about to say that and I'll say it anyway... YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE and there will always be someone not happy about something or other. Oh well, I still had lots of fun. :)

I liked all the DJs in the main room and was even surprised by the DJ before Norin & Rad. I like walking in a club and feeling the music grab me and make me dance. As for N&R, I think this is my 4th time seeing them and I've enjoyed all their sets. I like their energy.

The sound was way better last night than it's been in awhile. I was up in the front, in the back, the side, in the middle, hellz I was every where and the sound was pretty good.

My night was very much enjoyed, saw & talked to lots of peeps I hadn't seen it a while, met new peeps (hi Sergio, apeattack, and ??? hee hee hee) missed Rann, danced a bit and got a wee bit too tipsy, no quesadilla this time. I had a great time!

Now I hope to see some of you folks next Saturday. I along with M3 Productions will be hosting the back room.

Bring your dancing shoes!
