| I'm listening to the mix right now and I have to say I'm liking it a lot. The mixing is top notch as well as the flow. |

One of the things i really like about your mixes and djing is the fact that you are willing to try different styles of mixing and sub genres from set to set. I give you major tiesto props for this :p
Overall I thought this mix was good , but i do prefer your other dirty tech house african - latin mixes .
The intro was great, I thought that was what the mix was all bout but then i noticed you switched to your usual sound later on but a bit more deepish than usual .some of the tracks at the beggining didn't do much for me , I noticed more vocals than usual , which does explain why it was made for your GF since we all know.... girls love vocals . mixing was tight as usual , nice flow some tunes i really enjoyed like "Dein Verlangen" , " hamka "
The mix really did it for me from Hamka tiill the end , I think at one point I heard 3 tracks playing together , whatever u did sir makes this a wonderfull thing to listen to.
I have listened to this more than 10 times today
Betoko - El Hijo De La Guayaba (Nils Hess & Henry Cullen Remix) [Eukatech]
Arnaud Le Texier & V Sexion - Funk Some Thoughts (Lemos Remix) [Safari Electronique]
Gorge - Forgot Your Shoes [Plastic City]
Catorze - Luscofusco (H.O.S.H.'s Staubschticht Remix) [Bloop Recordings]
Greatness Bro ;)
About " Caminando " all I can say is , How things where built up till that moment made it a perfect way to end this set .
I think of all of your mixes this is best end that i have heard from you .
Congrats for that bro .

thank you juan pachanga junior. I think it is more fun to change it up every time i put something out. When i listened to some older sets of mine a while back, i realized that for a certain period, everything i did sounded a bit too similar. It got boring.
I'm not out in a club every weekend anymore, and i think this leads me to buy music that i would not have before, just because i would have someone else expose it to me going out. Either way, if i can do something and people can't really know what to expect i think it is cool:)

She works out to it, so great success. It is still baby steps trying to get her to embrace electronica, but after taking her to villalobos vs zip, voorn, everything/justin long (she really liked fred everything), thomas fehlmann/brendan moeller/trus'me/the mole, and a few mutek events i think she is starting to come around. If not call it revenge for her barking out orders to me as she gives me guitar lessons. She has even expressed interest at learning to mix for fun, but she only wants to play my records and i won't let her touch them:p
I don't love her that much
@DJ Blitzkrieg thank you!
sorry for the bump bitches |

if you are learning to play guitar major props to your gf for that , just today I was playing "big empty" from STP on my acoustic guitar , so much win if you ever get a little saturated of Edm :D
Also tell her to click here in order to make her come around Edm :p |

Finally gave this a go-around and, as usual, superb. The mixing and flow was spot on the whole way through so I wont even really touch on that other than well done.
I really liked the kind of "bangin" housey atmosphere you had going on here, it was definitely a different vibe than your several previous mixes. Loved a lot of the rhythm work in these tracks. I'd have to listen a few more times to gather more specifics, sets like this tend to not really hold my attention these days.
Anyways, great work as usual, looking forward to the next one. :) |
