I honestly think I have enough cash to get him but I wouldn't invest unless I knew I was making all of it back at least and than we still have to get a venue + everything else which = more $$$ |

Ok Scoops from all the information I have gathered and conclusion I came up with is it is "Club Space's" fault. Markus seemed to have nothing to do with it. He seemed ready for the event but it seemed to have been a conflict between the club and Markus booking agency.
Now I heard don't take this as 100% truth but it could be true. I heard Space wanted Markus to play at two other venues that they associate with and Markus agency was not having that so Space told Markus and co to not even bother coming down to Miami cause your not allowed to play. Now if this is indeed true that is some foul but hey we'll never know the truth.
Just know the club had some wrong doing for sure and I don't know who made this decision at Space but would definitely love to know.

my guess is that ticket sales werent going as good as expected. markus played for lp too during conference at parkwest (right name?) for his "own" night and that bombed. i guess lp figured it, cut it before he loses anymore money on markus. theres probably some added tension too since markus played mansion twice last year. once lp cuts a dj, they dont usually make it back. it never made sense to me why all of a sudden markus would be playing space again.
im just glad i never bought a ticket. hope you all can get your refunds. |

why would space even make a flyer and begin ticket sales for markus on the terrace if they wanted him to play somewhere else? thats retarded. |

No they wanted him to play at two other venues at other dates. So it was like play at these two other venues and you can play at Space too get me?
I am telling you this was all club vs markus booking agency. Things went sour. |

There ya go you got it now. That pretty much sums up what happened and there must have been a little more tension involved too to just have this show canceled last minute.
Normally a show wouldn't just get canceled last min when they have been selling tickets and bringing hype up. |

Oh and one more thing....
I would like to thank my beloved Fl TA family here for helping support the scene and standing up when you knew something was fishy.
Thank you all for real! We were definitely heard by Space and hopefully this whole dramatic situation will bring some light to Space and Miami for a diversity of EDM to come!
