wow guys - this is fuking ridiculous.
and here i was - hoping for new changes so that I may see Markus play @ Space some other time in the future.
If this was any other weekend - I would have flown down for it. I am damn glad my Electric Zoo ticket prevented me from buying a plane ticket for this weekend.

"Hey gang,
Before you guys go off and make boundless accusations against the venue, please let me explain, to the best of my ability, what happened. For obvious reasons I cannot go into details, but I will tell you what I can.
Markus will unfortunately not be playing The Terrace this coming Saturday evening. Nobody is as crushed as we are here at the club. Markus played for us quite often in 2003-2004, and we were (and are still!) so proud to see one of our own ascend to global supremacy in the DJ world.
Needless to say, there was some last minute conflicts in regards to Markus' schedule (He is playing all over this weekend!) and it was decided at levels far above mine that this weekend would not have been suitable for Markus to maximize his potential for what is effectively his adoptive hometown audience.
Now, I know how rumors get started, and I'm sure you've heard a lot by now, but bear in mind that is what they are, rumors.
We still value your patronage and hope to see some of you guys this weekend at the club." |

edit - also why would he NEVER play there ever again if it was just a scheduling conflict?
Markus fuking lives there - It can't be that hard to get him to spin at Space some other time!? |

That's what I think. I really am trying hard to get to the bottom of this guys you have no idea. I was as excited as all of you were trust me! I feel so betrayed from this ugh it's horrible. I can keep on venting if I wanted to but than this post would never end lol. You guys already know how I feel about Space now and there is no need to say anymore. |

Quite Frankly, (gets her stephen a. smith on)
Markus has had worse scheduling conflicts and plays on no sleep or extremely jet lagged.
FFS, he is playing @ Electric Zoo this Sunday from 6-730 then he's going on a flight to play in Vegas that same night.
Also, he can play in Miami that night - board a flight to NY early and arrive here 3 hours later.
It's not that difficult. Space, hire me for Event planning. :D |

"Just got word my gig in Miami may be cancelled. Not sure what is going on. Stay tuned as I try to find out details."
So this is definitely Space pulling some fishy foul . I can almost guarantee it's their fault. |
