I heard all these tunes LAST september, so technically all I missed was a rammed sweaty room and smuncky. Like I said, glad to have stayed home :D.

i love you too man. :p

i didn't like the set too much. but i was in such a good mood from the boat cruise that it didn't really matter. so after about 10 min at the front, i ditched that horrible space and went to the back where i took full advantage of all the free space to dance, the awesome light show, and the frequent breeze coming from the entrance.

but of course it was the company that i kept that made the night. veronica, jill (it was great meeting you 'officially' ;)), ryan, jesse, tara and mikey, vince... it was so good to just dance with you guys again. haven't done that in awhile.

*speaks for wai, I am sure she agrees, minus the fact she is on vaca on probably happy anyways!!*

oh i definitely agree. i really do wish i wasn't across the country right now because if i wasn't i would have made it a priority to be in toronto last night. i always have a great time when markus spins but i'm biased cause he's my favorite.

although i somewhat agree with spaniard that i've heard a lot of those tracks last october when he was at the guvernment. i like them but if given the choice would prefer hearing something fresh and new. other than that looks awesome...i NEED to make it up again to hear markus. thankfully he'll be at electric zoo.

got there at around 345 and could hear Insomnia as I was paying cover. You know it's going to be a good night when that's the first song you hear :D

Awesome tunes from Markus for the most part and had a great time listening to Cam Maxwell in Acid and Greg Gow in Gallery. Turned out to be a wicked night! Glad to see so many TAs out as well. Vince, Alex and I win the prize for closing it down :p

Glad you had a great night, but this tracklist makes me so god damn happy I stayed home I can not begin to tell you. :p

Too be honest, he played a crap load of new stuff that couldn't be id'd. That tracklist you see is only about 2.5 hours or so, and he spun for the better part of 6 hours.
btw, add Wippenberg - Earth to that list :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:

I i had a fantastic time with everyone! Haven't partied like that in a really long time! I don't remember the last time I left Guv while after the son rose. :D It was finally nice to hear a proper 6 hour set from Markus, I usually always have to leave about half way through when he starts gettin banging!
Overall I thought his set was really lacking some flow though. Mixing was spot on, track selection was great but it could have been programed a little bit better. And for God's sake, retired Chakalaka already!! :clown:

Dear Nada,

HE DIDN'T PLAY PERSPECTIVE SPACE!! lol

Also, a HUGE WTF! to the dance platform right in front of the dj booth, and puting gay VIP booths in the middle of the dancefloor.

That's exactly it. The tracklist you see here is a lot of he always plays, which was expected but there were some awesome banging tunes for large part of the night that I didnt exactly know.. lots of prog too.. especially later on at night.. I thought this was the best set I heard from him out of the last 5 gigs that I saw him in the last year...

Oh you lucky :whip:

I wish I stayed home. This was the worst set and the worst crowd and no room to breath whatsoever. No more Markus from me from now on thats it.

It is just so pathatic how most of the Djs who come here just play recycled crap music all the time.:o

Love you all and god bless.:p
