2nd mix compilation by seaman this summer :conf:. although this is not going to be anything similar to the old renaissance compilations by seaman, i will still check this one out.

Sad to see Renaissance turning into GU...is it really that hard to find a DJ that isn't Dave Seaman or Hernan Cattaneo to do a mixed comp? :(

Anyways...first disc looks interesting. Has some tracks like "The Bright Forest" that I wouldn't associate with Dave Seaman at all. Might be interesting. Disc two, not so much...

Geez, is everyone except Hernan that did a Renaissance compilation trying to be Sasha? This is a very uninteresting t/l if you ask me.

"Seaman’s Intravenous Remodel" <-- someone take the surgeon knife away from Seaman. :stongue:

Looks decent nevertheless.

Satoshi Tomiie? :conf:

I don't get why they have stopped numbering the series?

So I guess Renaissance is planning to have the same people return for "Masters" mix comps every time they change the format of how these things are cataloged?

I'm sure we'll see Cattaneo and Seaman again in about a year and a half when they decide to drop the word 'the' from the title.

Mr Game+Watch
Love that cover... Seaman's mix albums are really hit-or-miss for me though.

Aside from his tendency to whore out Stress/Audio Therapy, Seaman has always tried to be Sasha.

There are half a dozen tracks on here I'd be interested in hearing, but Seaman's last entry into this series was pure ditchwater.

I can't say for myself who, precisely, Seaman is/was attempting to emulate, but generally speaking, he always came off to me as an above-average copy of whatever style was currently being championed by the other big name jocks.

It's only in the last year or so that I've really noticed him involved in stuff that seems more consistent with a more identifiable style of his own, but wherever people were doing something hot, you'd find Dave Seaman doing more or less the same thing (albeit well, I will concede).
