i would say yes, most definitely. cubans also have far higher literacy levels than those in the US. another need i would argue is being met.

| I would guess that Cuba is better and the people aren't as brainwashed as the NK's... just based on some of the documentaries I've watched. I don't know anyone from NK, but one of my best friend's wife is from Cuba- her family went through Honduras and got to the U.S. when she was 14. They live in Miami now (shocker).... but , the stories her and her family tell about the deplorable conditions there and the abject hopelessness are ing sad. |

| I was there last month, had a great time, and would go back in a flash. I've seen poverty, and I've seen riches. The government may suck, but the people are great, and a proud people. They know they can do better, they just can't openly talk about it. It's beautiful and historic there, so Cuba by far if compared to N.Korea |
