My best friend who i worked with in Korea now lives and works in China. No facebook, no hotmail during the anniversary of Tienanmen, and a list of sites that are blacklisted daily for no reason.

While the Australian plan does not seem to be as drastic, i find it unbelievable that a "democratic" country would result to such big brother tactics. Quite ridiculous, adults do not need to be protected from themselves, and the jurisdiction to protect a child should fall to the parent through supervision and not the Gov.

Is Oz really that much of a nanny state?
