just a few points here:
1. Most sets these days like someone else in this thread said are between an hour - 3 hours. Just because the Guv, who brings back many of the same dj's and has a good relationship with them and is able to get them to spin longer sets doesn't mean that every small club in TO will be able to get an intn'l dj to spin a 6 hour set. Other than certain guv parties, and certain locals bdays you don't see many sets over 4 hours...
2. I didn't see Anas spin after Steve Porter, but I've seen him dj many other times and he was making the crowd jump and dance non-stop. I'm not even a huge fan of electro but I can still appreciate a good dj, and I believe it's very wrong to put Anas down if you haven't heard him spin more than once or twice.
3. You should stop complaining, and be happy that Toronto's EDM community has grown significantly over the past few years....we're getting more and more great dj's spinning in our city every weekend... If you want to complain that badly, I'd send some fan mail to the dj and request that he spins more, because I believe it's more his choice to spin for less than 3 hours.. not Anas' choice.. |
