Got enough of a good sound system to hear the difference between some mp3s and FLACs. I assume you imagine me as a guy which sits on a pair of "Beats" by Dr. Dre hooked to my 20$ speakers I bought from the local china-market. |

As for whether it's worthwhile, it depends on your listening habits, IMO. I tend to only notice it if I'm messing around in Ableton, when individual frequencies start to matter. For casual listening, I think you're right. I can sit and tell the difference, but it's not significant enough to notice without being prompted for an answer.
Throw on, say, Alice in Chains 'Unplugged,' though, and, yes, it's clear as day which is which...on a good enough setup to recreate any kind of soundstage, etc., anyway. |

Got any insight on some good DACs? Been looking into the "Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2" lately, but from reviews I've read, some say it's kinda stiff. |
