I know this is a trance/electronic site, but im sure there must be a few of you that also listen to hip hop.
i need some help with hip hop right now. I am so sick of listening to commercial garbage and I am looking for some NEW (nothing more than a few years old). Also, any blogs that you frequent that feature NEW GOOD hip hop would be great. I'll post a few artists im liking right now so you have an idea of what im looking for.
- La Coka Nostra
- Z-RO (A.B.N)
- Jadakiss
- Tech N9NE
- Smif N Wessun
- Zion I
- Apathy
- Leak Bros
Can Someone please help me out? I find it so difficult to find any good hip hop

based on your current tastes look up celly cell.
Renzo
Before Eyedea got all emo.

we were having a discussion about this earlier. basically anything before Tupac died (1996). After that, probably closest is Wu Tang Clan and that's it.

I suggest you burn your hippity slop collection.
Actually, I wouldn't mind having the chorus to "Step into a World" remixed into an ambient electronic sound... that would be sick.

OK thats all well and fine , I have most older good stuff you mentioned above. Thanks though. What I am lookin for is something newer, more relevant but none of this "i get money" . basically fresh beats with some good lyrical content
