house room setup was one of the sickest i've seen in bal en blanc. That led wall was wicked !!!
boombox... cool.... for 15 minutes... felt repetitive after that, was waiting for something more like this:
instead we got a projection of a sorta virtual dj interface, it seemed, most of the time. Lack of originality in projections from a dj to the other. I guess my expectations were a bit high. I preferred last year's trance room setup tbh, lasers ftw.
but again, house setup wow, awesome stuff !!!
unfortunately was sick like an animal all weekend long, so didn't dance as much as i wanted. But it was a great party... like every year :)

I wasn't impressed with the Boombox until Schulz came on. I tried to like trance last night, Sander Van Doorn was too fast for me, and Ferry's set was cheese as ... decided to give it one last chance and went to see Schulz, and holy .. set of the night for me. I left at 10, didn't get to see SVR.
Also, surprisingly, Kaskade's set was pretty ing good. I've checked out his stuff before, and ing HATE his tracks. His set was ing really good, played big room prog, throbbing tech house, some techno, even some electro house... excellent transitions, flow, and mixing was top notch. He teased the crowd, and his drops were ing MASSIVE!
I lost my when Schulz played "Hold that sucker down", I've been dying to hear it on a big system, and the crowd went ape at the drop around 7 minutes.. Really really liked Schulz, none of my friends are trance heads, but we spent 2 1/2 hours wathing him dancing like s.
