i still dont know if that cuddle puddle of people on those floormats and cushions in the AGO last year at 4-5am was real or part of the exhibit

I'm working until around 2:30am but looking forward checking out some of these after work!

..... drunk lol

I totally ditched Nuit. Anything good?

I saw something really stupid at King and Bathurst while walking by. Coloured panels, some with vids of a hand slapping an ass, somebody blowing their nose, weird clicking sounds. If that passes for art, toronto has problems.

I was walking all around the Queen West area and the 'best' thing I saw was a pile of rocks.

I'm sure other areas were better but Queen W should be pretty prime time for cool and it sure wasn't

some of the exhibits were good if you knew what you were looking for and what you were into. But basically, it was a bunch of people wandering around downtown, looking at some questionable artwork. And did anyone else think that the advertising was a little overdone for what was on display last night?

And the TTC's service for last night was shameful. I saw everything from numerous drunk TTC booth collectors to waiting half an hour on transit lines that are already 24-hour and ran with more frequency any other day.

Anyway, good story, somehow I ended up near casa loma for a 'peep show' of some kind. A bunch of middle aged men in black leotards dancing strangely to some odd music in a stable stall. All that closeness kinda did my head in, and I'm still trying to shake the mental images today.

WHAT A SHAME!

I've been telling this for years now. Nuit Blanche is a major scam. But this year there was more hype than ever before, so I decided to give it another chance and went for a walk with my friends.. My highlight was running into tons of familiar faces. Everyone was equally disappointed with the lack of Art and Creativity

I've been saying this for weeks lol
the amount of hype everyone created was pathetic - there is *nothing* exciting about this event
at least it didn't rain on us! and Starbucks probably made a fortune last night!

the only truly interesting exhibits were The Witch Cradles, The Ice Queen and that fighting ring in the bus terminal

and marching ftw hehehe :)
