Please tell me you caught Above & Beyond at the festival cause I downloaded their mix but it wasn't the full set. They ripped it and their mixing is spot on perfect! They kept the flow going nice. Wish it was the whole set though.

no i skipped faggy ass a&b lol! i dipped out from marco v like 30 mins early to check out the qdance stage for a bit and to check out sander on the mainstage. it took between 30-45 minutes to walk from one side of the festival to the other. it was that massive. 60k people is no joke. think 3 or 4 times the size of ultra. ultra is a kiddie party compared to mysteryland.
one funny story though from mysteryland... around mid-day we got hungry so we went looking for some food. we didnt know what half the was there though so we simply went and got some plain fries. as we were waiting in line we noticed that the fries came with mayo. they dont even ask, they just get a thing of fries and plop they throw a load of mayo on there. they didnt even have ketchup as an option. mayo only. so when im ordering i say "one fries please, no mayonnaise." the lady looks at me all confused, so i use hand motions and say "french fries, one, no mayonnaise." the lady looks at me confused again, and some guy next to me then says to her "no mayonnaisy" or however its said in dutch. but it sounds almost exactly the same. the lady then understood but i just started laughing because it sounded almost EXACTLY the same. how she didnt understand i still dont understand, cuz the "one fries please" part she understood. only the mayo part was the problem. funny none the less though.
overall the trip was ing amazing. best set i saw though was simon patterson. joop ing ripped it too. as well as marco v. first time seeing all those guys so that makes it extra special. these are guys that will NEVER make it over here.
the trip altogether i dont even know how much it cost. 3 weeks is a lot. figure flights to germany from miami. then flights from germany to rome. then flights from germany to ibize. figure in 3 train rides within germany and a train ride from germany to amsterdam. figure in 3 weeks worth of food and 2 weeks worth of hotel stays (about a week was spent in germany with my family). and then figure in other like club and museum entrances as well as local transportation costs like the metro (subway) in rome and and and. it cost A LOT, but was so ing worth it. i can only highly recommend a trip like this.
being in a foreign country is always hard when you dont know anyone, but one way or another you always manage to get by.
oh and heres the sunset from cafe del mar / cafe mambo in ibiza. :)

when i went to amsterdam in feb '07 for trance energy i had heard the dutch love fries with mayo. i got mine with mayo, mustard and ketchup and they were delicious and i normally dont like mayo or ketchup.
videos from mysteryland look insane.definitely one party i want to hit in the near future.

Dude you can't compare them when their doing a acoustic set LMAO.

dude ive seen em before and they were dropping the slowest in the world. i wanted to shoot myself. no one was moving at all and they were acting like jesus up on stage. a&b. buncha queer ass looking mother******s. :p

seriously. thats what i told all my friends when I got back stateside from an 8-day trip going solo for all the good opening parties. having been to the WMC a bunch I went in expecting to compare it to something like that. The WMC and all it's glamour and fun its just simply child's play, relatively. my friends all asked, "so....how was it?!?!?!?!?!" i could only say "perfection." i took like 10 pictures on my digi cam the whole time, felt weird taking pics solo. i plan on going back next summer with a group of like 6 to show them the magic....its just something else. you worded it well, heh.
