SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I ended up here, even though I was on the fence all week, then decided not to go when I woke up (which obviously quickly changed with many convincing texts, I thank you all for that ;)). Dekay killed it and was loving every minute up there. I wish I didn't get there late for his set because I was in a traffic jam on Spadina b/c of some parade on Queen street. :whip:
Manzone & Strong were meh, as usual.
MO rocked it. This was the best time I've seen him at zone (OMG at him playing some tribal!! That was a first!). I'm happy about his monthly residency. :D
Dekoze was good, but nothing fantastic. He ended by playing a few trance tracks, to which I seemed to be the only person in zone who knew the words to them. Holy ing THE PERSPECTIVE SPACE at zone. My mouth was hanging open.
Afterwards Carlo came on and blew everyones socks and undergarments off. Sick. |

Dekay killed it. He went on early and left late, you could tell he was just having a ball up there. He started out with some melody and strings, then just played driving house for the rest of he set, while finishing off with some more melodic strings.
So nice to party after a full nights sleep.

+1 to everything, and to add on to this, it was a great first time experience at CZ. i don't have one complaint about it. i'm really glad i came out.
heard about the place being dark but holy, the first few minutes were intense. however, after my eyes adjusted, it was great. i also usually don't enjoy the heat/humidity but it just felt right to have it there. this also makes the floor super good/easy to dance on. and the sound was great as well.

To bring back a classic zone thread, you know you are at the zone when:
- smunky is trainspotting old house vocals.
:p |
