I used to have 72 properties in my neighbourhood, and it was only I read up more on it when I found out that was useless. I stripped it down, to my longest streets, and in the last couple of weeks, I spent some time searching for forgotten long streets. Just the other day I found a $4million street, and capitalizing on it now. People lose their properties if they don't log in from time to time.
Speaking of wars, I was with one with a guy in the top 10 local (York Region), did the same thing as you. I was in Vegas for a week, and all my properties were trashed with multiple hazards when I got back. I re-bombarded him for a couple of days, then he layed off of me. Did you want me to mess THSBA up for ya? I usually just discard my hazards so I can nail him badly for ya.
Resetting is expected. They'll do it every several months or so to keep interest going, and getting a better start for those who learned the game later on like myself. |

Still a good deal if you got the cashflow. I found mine just browsing northern Ontario, and another 4M I found in Idaho.
Today I got hit back-to-back-to-back accountant fines, wtf??? 500M lost just like that. Random Chance cards my ass. |

not sure if it was really worth it. I maxed out that street in a day and only increaed by daily rent by $600,000,000.
Any decent street are hard to get now unless you're willing to pay stupid amounts of $ for them.
a couple days ago I was hit by 2 tax payments of 700,000,000 in 4 turns:nervous: I think the random tax deduction chance cards just take a random percentage.
The game is pretty much dead now...
I've found a ton of accounts that are sitting on 100+ street that are worth 4 million+ with no houses...I'm guessing they're secondary account for people at the top who get their streets raped with hazards. Then they sell off those streets and buy new ones off themselves. |

Yeah, what's up with that? NO1 ALLIANCE is one such user, and looks like just making money buying and selling streets instead of building on them.. go figure. update: I just checked... looks like his 100s of streets got frozen by the game.
Regarding dead... I've been watching some users for a whhile, and they have been deliberately built their empire (with extra accounts for balance) by keeping below the radar. One user, DUKE OF YORK, has just started making his move in the top 10 local, and using his other accounts, he may move up quickly in the regions soon. |
