The whole tune is garbage, a ty DJ tool with white noise builds and a whack push pull beat. Kind of music that makes me head for the exit. |
I never heard of push pull...any other tracks you can think of w/ that style so I can get a better feeling for what you're saying? |

I remember people coming back from WMC whatever year it was released and saying how OMG!!!11ONE the bassline was.
So finally it comes out a few months later and first time I hear it I'm like are you ing kidding me? That bassline is garbage. |
That track is meant to be played on a large sound system. Otherwise it's nothing. I'm assuming you heard it at your home?
Bash it all you want guys there is no denying the track's impact on the dancefloor |

I felt I was on my to hell with that track playing, incredible. Just got annoying when you heard it EVERYWHERE for the next couple months.
Odd how this track doesn't grab me like Grindhouse because they're quite similar... |

Grindhouse remix was a monster, this isnt anywhere close to it. Grindhouse had that nasty synth noise in the background which gave it the tension, couldnt see Rabid having the same effect although im only going on the beatport sample, havent heard the full track yet |

That's a pretty excuse.
If a track only works in a certain setting it's not a very good track. |

Dude I'm not making any excuses here. What I wrote still stands, regardless of whether or not the track is good by your standards. It has its purpose, and I'm pretty sure that just about every DJ that has this record knows that. And trust me there are plenty. |

| That tune never did and never will have any purpose for me. There are x number of songs I would reach for before putting that on. |

All right then. |

| The rolling bassline in this is the same one on Namito's track City of Gods. Anyone know how this is made, for my own curiosity? |

That's why different DJs play different music. I find it helps keep things interesting, don't you? |
