I know I'm just saying there's no automatic rule that this is good. It works for a lot of guys and it works floors but it's not for me.
Just like that visionquest of kiki, some people might hate it but for me it rocks em.

I wish he would stop making Minimal German Techno (its really boring at the moment)...or anything Minimal, and make some Americano 90s House again. I'm guessing he listens to Yes Men around him too much, who tell him a souless track like this is worth something. We are a bit critical though, he makes one tool, and everyone jumps on him, after making 10 dancefloor bombs the past 3 years.

The rolling bassline in this is the same one on Namito's track City of Gods. Anyone know how this is made, for my own curiosity?
It's just a more subtle version of a psy-trance bass line like this:
It's very easy to make.
Kicks are represented by X, while bass is Y.
XYYY XYYY XYYY XYYY
or alternately,
XYY_ XYY_ XYY_ XYY_
The bass sound just needs to be a short 'fat' plucky noise, such as the kind a lot of moog synths make. It's usually made with a square or triangle wave.

I'm guessing he'll ditch this sound at some point and then start either putting "dub techno" elements in or start claiming that his sound is classic/Detroit.

Such boring music.
Richie has been hammering this tune.

Well that would be Richie's problem.

but you guys get all worked up about the new jamies jones or radio slave releases when they are above average at best. (imo)
is this even worse than all the 'tech house' that's been mentioned on the entire new releases forum?
