Was that lawler at stereo for july 1st 2005 because I was there and it blew me away. Dark and dirty lights out for sure. That was a rocking party!

It was indeed. I recall having my mini-Canadian flag attached to my window after the party. Maybe I was asking for trouble seeing I had an Ontario license plate!

That night was EPIC ! I still have a track in my head from that night - don't know the name of it, but just filthy wobbly bass coming from that sweet sweet system.

Lawler nowadays totally doesn't fit the "Stereo Sound" but if they are going to break their rotation and put him in I would kill a fkn goat to be there.

I remember that night like yesterday I was wearing a red football jersey for Canada day and danced on the little balcony to the side because that place was jammed packed! Memories...

I wasn't even factoring in scheduling, I just see some DJs only working with certain clubs/promotion teams, and wondered if it'd be a factor given that I don't see Blended attached to Stereo anymore.

Actually, it was Blended that I got my opening night tickets from.

Would be nice if we could have Satoshi Tomiie come back for his bi-monthly residency. It's been a few years. Same goes for Sander Kleinenberg, although I'm not too sure about his sound as of late.

Lawler says on his recent E-mix he has a residency in Mtl (Tribe I take it), I'm sure he can change it to ((())). Saw him at the temple in early July 2005 and they are totally made for each other. Utter dark sleazy mayhem.

Could you imagine Offer dancing aka:"conducting" the crowd from behind the decks at Stereo, luckily the DJ booth is high enough up and its dark enough in Stereo most people, myself included probably wouldn't notice.

And which E-mix does Lawler mention having a residency in Montreal?
Enjoy
his last essential mix

the one from May this year? I have that one on my iPod I was actually listening to it on my way into work this morning. And I didn't hear that part, about him mentioning a residency in Mtl.

I think it would be good, the last opportunity I had to see Lawler was Resolution 2008. And unfortunately I got taken away from that party at 2am because a friend of mine was still hung over from all of us partying to hard the night before at Opera. I missed all the headliners that night.

i am willing to bet that other than morales, the residents will be the same as before. I hope for you guys that it is not the case and the club actually tries to be relevant to today music wise.

Lenazi, have you considered running for president, and applying for Stereo residency?

Their new policy allows you to pack your own lunch ;)

lenazi
