An extended set isn't supposed to be 3+hrs ?
If the club opens at 10 and there are 2 more dj that night, how is Gareth going to play 3+hrs?....Just a question

good question. Im thinking about driving from ms to make this show. Was waiting to see if he'd land another gig closer but $10 is a bargain basement price.

I'm definitely looking forward to this night! BTW what are some good eats for Saturday? I will be staying the night there and checking out Charlotte for the day on Saturday. |

I'll post a few of my favorites:
american:
alexander michael's (uptown 4th ward)
the penguin (plaza midwood)
japanese:
ru san's (dilworth)
nikko (dilworth)
mexican:
cantina 1511 (dilworth)
phat burrito (southend lunch)
cabo fish taco (NoDa)
for tapas/sushi/cocktails go to soul gastro in plaza midwood, awesome new lounge in my neighborhood with good tunes and good people.
some other places to note are brixx (brick oven pizza directly beside the forum), mac's speed shop (BBQ), dish (southern), soho bistro (chinese), zada janes (american/vegan)
I don't really go out for steaks but I know ruth's chris is good but very expensive. Check yelp.com for steaks/thai, as I don't really know the best around here for that stuff anymore. |

I saw Gareth in Montreal this summer, he played 4.5 hours...and it blew everyone's mind,best set I've heard this year so far, glad to hear you guys are going to have almost the same lol
Ohh and btw, the tickets were 10$ aswell

Well as it stands right now Im defintely coming. Still checking his website for updated tour dates. I dont see why other people around the south arent booking as well! Hes been blowing up for a good while now and I cant afford to miss him...maybe I can get a crew together to come with me. But more than likely not...people in ms suck ass |
