No, you just don't understand the concept... Brahman is the ultimate reality... in essence Brahman is existance... everything that exists only does so as part of Brahman. Everything is a component of Brahman; however, since a part of something is not a whole then your contention that each of the "gods of humanity" are a copy of Brahman is incorrect... they are not a copy, just a part.

Brahman did not say they were a part, he said form, specifically. I'm assuming by form he means something which is only a type or variation on the original. You're right though, my logic would be flawed had he said they were a part of him, but he didn't.
