GC - Shining (Tiesto Remix) / GS - Sunrise (Tiesto Remix)

| I'm about to clean my vinyl collection and I found those two records, I played them and damn, they are still the best! I love his remix of Sunrise and Shining. Why doesn't he produce such stuff nowadays? Those must be two of his best remixes ever. I think he quite lost his touch to such uplifting killer remixes. Too bad! |

i definatly agree, also around that time he made his remix of flesh (i belive) which is also amazing, its a shame his remixes these days tend to be lacking the touch the afformentioned tracks had :( |

You seem to be right, Flesh sounds very similar to this style. I like the track, but I'd like it even more without vocals, the part at the end is just great. |

I agree with both of you...Tiesto lost it :(
His mix of Southern Sun is sub-par...his older remixes are so much better...like Destination Sunshine...or Sunrise, or Flesh. |

| about southern sun... tiesto isn't superman. if you give him a VERY sub-par song to begin with, he can't make it into a masterpiece. i give him a lot of credit by making that song toleratable. =) |

This is true,
He used to make mint basslines for his tunes which made them really full of energy, now they seem some what empty.
Some of my favs:
Delerium - Silence (DJ Tiestos In search of sunrise)
Yahel - Voyage (Dj tiesto's magikal remake)
Goldenscan - Sunrise (Dj Tiesto Remix)
Aria - Willow (Dj Testo Remix)
Jan Johnston - Flesh (Dj Tiesto Remix)

Yes, i agree. Tiesto power mix is veeeery good. But then again i also have Tiesto dub and that isn't anything to talk about.. |
