My only small gripe with Logic is the fact that if I move or copy a region with automation, I always get the dialogue "Move or Copy Automation with Region?". Now I know I can turn it off, and I really like having the choice, and I also realize that there is really no other way to do this without a dialogue. That being said, it always pops up at the most inconvenient times.

use lfo instead of automation :) :D

Yeah, that really doesn't work.

i rarely automate stuff anymore. i find it boring. its a lot funner to work with lfos imo. well i automate volume sometimes though, fading in stuff, havent really found a good way to do that elsewise other that duplicate the element and add a lfo on the level opening on the first one. actually its really fun to duplicate synths and play them after each other and change one of them sligthly (some more eq or distortion or wideness). off topic sorry. im out.

- The look and feel of the included efex are terrible. Feels like your programming Java or some .
- The constant updating. Reminds me of windows.
- The lacking of updated manual

There is one synth in Reaper!
I think its sweet, i just layer 7 or 8 of them to get a Massive Sound!

With Cubase 5, still no built in sidechaining for instruments, only effects. Come on already its such a basic thing. Secondly, not being able to export in realtime due to the "CPU Overload" error. Other than those 2 things, I'm pretty happy with it so far. No complaints with Ableton 8.

@ david.michael - Just call it FL Studio mang.

But I been using Ableton Live for almost 10 months now and while I did have some problems with Live 7, most, if not all of them were takin care of with Live 8 so I'm a happy camper.

However I do believe that Ableton should implement an option in the preferences for "auto hi-quality" on all plugins that give the Hi-quality option.

Same here. But itīs really quick to highlight the automation and drag-copy it where you need it - as you know :P
