Sounds like something Liebing would have released on CLR. It's an OK EP, all three tracks sound identical to me, not a whole lot of variation. Throb has the sickest sound to it imo, my favorite. This would get the asses shaking ...

They sound similar yeh, Throb is ing sick, the whole breabeat feel is really good. Kind of reminds me of JPLS - Green 01 (Skoozbot Remix) though a load darker.

They sound similar as in all Perc tracks, A for me.

josh's concept with counter clock was that the efx travel in a circular motion, some type of panning technique. Curious to see what would sound like standing in the center of a club with speaker stacks set up in all 4 corners

I remember reading the interview where he detailed each track name but I didn't know/remember that. Although you could only do that with 5.1, I think?

Ya I'm not sure. He said that when you listen to it in headphones you can hear it. I dont know why you would hear it in headphones but not in a club. Maybe the headphones work in surround or something

In regards to that layout of the kick drums and bass in Throb it reminds me of this old tribal track from Geoff Gains called "Tribal Patrol" on Twisted America.

If you listen in this clip you'll hear similarities between the kick drums where the kick is sort of doubled up at the end of the bar

Most club systems are still mono, I believe, so a circular panning effect would not sound like anything at all in a club.
