cant remember the last time i saw the main room so packed!

Sadly I missed Joel's set.. again! One day I'll actually see that mouse head in action!

Gallery was jammed and hot. The amp powering the monitors died 30 minutes into our set. playing without monitors for an hour was pretty frustrating, but thankfully Tim the sound guy came to the rescue and found a self powered on for us! yay!

Tim rocks... he was running around like a madman all night. He deserves a lot of credit for keeping the place together on Sat (as he does every night). Definitely someone who doesnt get enough credit for the Guv night out experience.

Was it you guys that played "Sunshine People" in the Gallery?

got there around 11:50 missing GL.... damn work!! Got there and waited in line bypass and met up with DjScetchbag (glad to see you outta retirement!). I think i got sick cause of the rain and everyone coughing inside! Went to the Gallery where Christina cruise was playing some nice Tribal... after Evan and Cam came on to do their thang! good warm up dancing. 1:30 and i make my way to the Sardine can/ Washing machine with spin cycle. I stood in the middle of guv for the opening and after 10 min i was like this is too much. Made my way to Deluxe lounge with a few ppl. Stayed up there most of the night! There was plenty of room to dance and I pretty much towards the end of deadmau5's set I was dancing tooo crazyy.. like all over the place (couldn't control myself) Then some girl dressed up to the nine's brushed me aside and gave me the WTF? look! funny part of the night in deluxe lounge was watching this couple on a couch pretty much dry humping.. the guy was thrusting his all over the place ..

Wow first time I saw him live... glad my buddy "dragged" me out for this... despite standing in lineup in the rain, getting sick of that and greasing to get in... the place was rammed and such a party atmosphere!

Videos (if u can ID a track pls do so):

Mighty Mau5: Toronto’s Deadmau5 Brings Down The Guvernment Behind New Album
2009/09/29 | Aaron Miller, CityNews.ca

His name is Joel Zimmerman, but the 28-year-old, who produces progressive house music for the world under the moniker Deadmau5 isn’t necessarily big on titles.

Example: Deadmau5 has followed his first full-length release, 2008’s Random Album Title, with his latest effort, For Lack Of A Better Name (Ultra), a seriously danceable piece of electro that represents not only a major leap forward for a man already considered a brand name on the world’s house scene, but a stake in the ground for a local scene not traditionally considered one of the world’s richest.

Case in point: On Saturday night Deadmau5 (pronounced 'deadmouse') absolutely ripped The Guvernment just hours after packing a Queen Street West HMV for a performance and autograph signing which brought in fans from Ottawa, London and beyond.

And not just to get a look at one of his trademark mouse heads, although they are quite the sight.

Here a couple of shots from the signing!
