Is there actually a birth control pill that gives you a period only once a year? Are you sure you weren't watching the Annuale commerical on SNL?

Did you ever try the patch? My girlfriend tried it and it turned her into a total crazy person.

She did the shot and it was fantastic, only had to worry about it every 3 months... unfortunately, it was like she was kinda halfway on her period all the time, so we decided to stop using it.

She can't remember to take pills to save her own life, so we're back to condoms for now. Sigh.

I mean, that's essentially what we're doing, except sometimes we pull out and sometimes we put a condom on towards the end. But, I can't say this is the most reliable method and it would be nice to not sweatin' it again. ;)

You know this method is fail when you send your man to the store to get a box of condoms and a pregnancy test.

well i'm 27 years old (about to be 28) and we're getting married eventually so it wouldn't be the end of the world if i got knocked up. we'd have all the support in the world from our family and friends. as a woman gets older, she gets less fertile. i doubt i'm as fertile as i was when i was 19 or 20. we don't sweat it and it's worked so far. *knock on wood* lol

Yeah, it's a little different if you're willing to accept the fact that you could get pregnant (though I'm not sure that "it wouldn't be the end of the world..." would be the ideal perspective to start a family with, lol.)

For me, we already have a young one and we can barely handle one, so having another one would really be a stressful strain on our lives. So, we're looking for alternatives. Because...well, condoms suck (in a monogamous relationship).

Slylee
understandable. i am by no means saying that we'd be jumping for joy if i got pregnant, but we'd just deal with it and be ok is all i'm saying.
