rose, id say get on it anyway. seriously, my period & hormones are all over the place if i don't take the pill.. i've been taking the pill since i was 15 & im perfectly healthy (watch me get cancer now lol)
whenever i can i try using condoms just bc its the smart thing to do, but sometimes im like fack it.. i think pulling out is acceptable if ur on the pill..:happy2: |

I don't trust that "pull out" method AT ALL. that. And yeah I am getting back on birth control because my period was perfectly fine and came on time when I was on it and ever since I stopped taking them it even skips a month or it'll come for like a day and then the next month come for a week and it's just a ing mess. Even my mom (which didn't want me to get on the pill at first lol) says I should get back on it and my doctor said the same thing the last time I went to go see him. I quit cigs for the most part anyways (unless I roll or I'm drinking and someone offers me one but that's not even an occasional thing) so I should be okay taking the pill. |

My older brother is a "oh, we're too young to get preggers baby."
My older sister and I are the "pull out" babies. The next two sisters are "too tired from the first three to even think about birth control" babies.
And then came my youngest brother. He is the "okay, we have 5 it won't matter if we have one more and at least we can have sex without worrying about it" baby.
I'm on the pill. It's fine. I think it's only dangerous if you smoke ciggies. |

--parents. lmfao :stongue: but yeah, i mean, i think its fine to do that if im on the pill, otherwise, no.. bc i know some of it is still going in even if he pulls out.. i havent missed a dose, except like a month ago in spain, cos i dropped the damn pill in the car.. but that month i made sure to use a condom, but other than that, it's so great to feel carefree while on the pill.. i used to worry so much. yaz really is great, i think all the side effects you might get are just as possible with other medications ppl take, so really idc. we're gona die anyway lol, let's not have kids while we're living ;) the only thing for sure is you'll probably gain a few lbs from water weight :sadgreen: |

Yeah if you smoke more than 10 cigs a day or something it can cause problems. Everyone knows that if you're on the pill and take an antibiotic it makes the pill less effective or stops it from working - one of those. I was definitely moody because of the pill especially when I had to take 2 pills one day because I had missed my dose the day before. I was never on it long enough to benefit the 3-4 day period you get from being on it.
Zip - there can still be some sperm in precum. I am too young to take that risk. Much rather be on the pill. |

yep. now im less stressed bc im not so much on a medication that weakens the effectiveness of the pill. i use condoms less & less now.
i don't smoke anymore either, well, i never truly did but there was a phase where i was hooked on camel crush.
now if i go out ill smoke one but i don't even go out :mad: either way, smoking isn't good, so there's no need for me to do especially if it's worse during the pill. |

Yes, there are sperm in precum, but far too few to actually make it to the egg. A group of a few thousand sperm in a couple drops of precum have absolutely no chance of making it to your fallopian tubes. |

Again, I am too young to take the risk. Rather be on the pill :p knowing I won't get knocked up unless I up somehow. |

yea but they are really young and it's much easier to get preggers at that age so i would be paranoid too. i was on the pill throughout most of my late teens/early 20s.
with the amount of weed my bf smokes and the age of my eggs/ovaries, we'll probably have to use invetro (sp) by the time we're willingly ready to have kids. |
