its simple dude. you know the drill. you are not some kindergarden student going to a party for the first time.

if you know the tickets are gonna be $35 for only this week and will go up next week, and will be probably full price at the door, then really i dont understand a) why you are waiting if you are at least thinking about going b) DONT WAIT LAST MINUTE.

You know, I understand the liquidity issues of throwing an event and understand why advanced tix are important, but if you really feel the need to be condescending, go right ahead. I just asked for the door price, but go right ahead and ridicule like I'm 5 years old. That's usually a good way of gaining business.

I will also add that the last party that I attended in Brooklyn had a cover less than advertised. I assumed that was because it was late.

I'm not getting why it's so hard for you to comprehend. Every event producer does the same thing. They sell their tickets in phases and the price is going up for this on Monday. It is bad business for them to announce the new selling price for next week before then. If they are going to tell you the door as of now, then that would screw them up. They might say what the door is as of Monday or not, that is their choice. It is surprising that out of everyone, you have the issue with this especially after chastising other people about not getting early tickets and having very negative commentary about not getting early tickets. You know the drill, let it go.

Dude no matter what, talking to a potential customer like this makes you look like a jerk off! ;)

The fact still remains that many of those people do give the door price in advance, you just realize that you pay more for the flexibility of not going. As I had first stated, I'm going to something else, so I'm wouldn't be there until late, if at all. It's not like he had to respond yesterday and give the door price, but at some point, it would have been appreciated. A simple "we'll announce the door price later" would have sufficed. The condescension was not necessary.

Secondly, if you've been to one of these, they're in the middle of nowhere. I'm not going to travel the whole way out to a warehouse district in Brooklyn at 4-5am, not knowing whether the cover will be $40 or $60.

I have been to many of their events and know they're not the easiest to get to sometimes. When Wighnomy Bros was there, it was less the next day but that was a long party. They sent tweets for it saying when they were on since a lot of us went home to nap and they sent info like the $10 for the afternoon door. You could just add resolute to your twitter and turn mobile on for them only. They never send messages except for the day of events so it won't be annoying.

Well, even though I don't use Twitter, that would have been a much better response from Taimur than calling me a kindergartner, which I found highly unprofessional.
