30$ is a lot for a world class DJ and ranked so many years in a row at the top-10?really?when you also had the choise to be there before 12am and just pay 15$?and especially when at Vision most of the nights u can get in free before 12 or for 10$?

regarding to the night, even tho its not my style i think it was great..Milo's opening set was awesome and i liked a bunch of stuff i heard from Digweeed till 3am when i left

Milo, I assume you recorded your set. When can I get a copy?

Yes! I loved it! You did the best job of any opener I have ever seen in Chicago... I do hope there is a recording.

As for Diggers... I love the journey he took me on and was happy to hear something refreshingly dark and deep.

pffft the dj mag poll isn't anything but a popularity contest that has been proven to be manipulated. there are plenty of stunning world class djs that never make that list, I even remember digweed saying in an interview that he questioned the relevancy of the poll when so many groundbreaking djs (laurent garnier?) never even make it to the top50.

I think the prog-dj price gouging has gotten out of control ($45 for hernan and sasha?!?!) and is unwarranted. props to you milo I'm sure you played a wicked opener but the whole renaissance/GU stable of prog djs needs to stop charging out the ass to play in the US just because they can. there's reasonable, then theres greedy. its not 1999 anymore, and theres lots of great music out there that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg to enjoy.

ok, no offense to you or anything but i just have to laugh at the fact that you mentioned a poll. it means nothing. i've been seeing digweed since the twilo days in the late 90s and i have loved and still do love his style. if i was rolling in money, sure i'd probably go but as a grad students, those days of actually making money are long over lol.
