The furthest picture we have ever taken in to space, absolutely mind bending! (pg. 2)

or believe in a god.

Imagin
Im sorry but the universe is so mind bendingly massive that there is no way in hell we are the ONLY in the UNIVERSE. In this little cluster of planets we call a solar system sure. But hell we dont even have the first honest clues about planets in our own milky way galaxy. More or less ones that are millions of light years away.

But good ol Christianity will preach that were the only things anywhere so that way we feel special.

Think about it this way. There is someone in one of those clusters of galaxies in their solar system on their planet looking at us. And we appear as just one of those little white dots on a picture to them. The Milky Way is a small galaxy in the grand scheme of things.

Now i need to get my brain to stop before I get a headache thinking all the possible answers to what may or may not be out there.

No, thats not significant to anyone else.

In fact mathematic probability suggests that most civilizations do not reach out beyond their planets or local planet systems because they do destroy themselves before they reach the technological levels needed to do so.

It is sadly very insignificant.
Slylee
i was just making a point that we're insignificant in the grand scheme of things:p

Fantastic picture, I love looking at those Star comparisons, who knows what kind of massive supernova/hypernova/black hole will be created when that big er dies.
