haha yes! brilliant. Ice-T crossed my mind but I didn't put 2 and 2 together.

Also this fits into the category in a way: that horrible late 80's and early 90's thing where heavy metal/hard rock went into the ultra "glam rock" phase, repleat with makeup, stiletto heels, the ballad, and big hairsprayed manes.... as represented by these vaginas:

I think what you're looking for is that the aforementioned finally grew up.
Slylee
all 80's american rock band members are closet fags with each other.

What makes you think The Rock was ever really hard in the first place?

Let's take a look at Rocky Maivia for a moment:

Yeah, still a most imposing figure, but hardly connoting the same level of bad-assishness that developed around his character as he ascended through the NoD, and ultimately into his 'Rock' apex during the end of the 90's and early 2000's.

So while you can't make a determination about the guy either way by merely observing his wrestling persona, from what I gather, he is/was much closer to 'Rocky Maivia' than anything else (if not Witch Mountain Dwayne Johnson).

He's a happier, more centered individual than he was in the early and mid 90's, but I don't think its done much to undercut his edge, as he continues to remain rather brutal in a way that's simply more consistent with who he is now.

From his own remarks amidst the absurd drama that transpired on his forum over the past several months:

You are right, I'm not the same person I was in 1994 (and I'm happy about that). Are you?

However, I suppose you could use this rather unexpected post on his Twitter (before it was deleted) as a clear admission of him having gone soft:

“Now that I’m in love and gone all soft on you, can anyone recommend any romantic comedies? Got a weird urge.

...yeah, wasn't quite expecting this.

Trent has always had a great sense of humour. Granted, he's also been known to scream at people in public when they ask for an autograph, but that's what makes him awesome.

//And don't get me started on his wussy drama. There's a reson why I hang out on a trance website and not nin.com. :/

Slylee
trent probably went soft because he found love and got laid.

EY HAL?
