Eddie Halliwell was just ripping it. I liked his remix of "Use Somebody." I'm definitely a fan now. I'd say he is by far the best headliner Circus has seen this year.

Believe it or not, Reza is a REALLY down to earth guy. His entourage on the other hand can be douchey to the max. And the fact that he can always put me on his comp list doesn't hurt either ;)

i must agree on this. i've known Reza for a little while now and if you ever go up and talk to him (especially when he's not working), he's a very kool kat.

what a night! thanks to everyone at circus for such an awesome time! it was nice meeting a bunch of the LATA's and of course seeing some of my TA pals again.

Circus as a venue is cool, and even though i know there were a ton of people, you had space to maneuver. will definitely poke my head in down in LA more often for sure! Malia, Michelle, Brandon please email me those pics, I know malia and SCG post them so i guess i can download them .

met markus after his set and we took a couple pics, Andres, I will get you that pic we took with him. met alex also, that guy is TINY lol!

time to sleep! :-)

i enjoyed those grateful deads, im still recovering lol.

I had a wonderful time last night, the vibe & music were great as always. I was thrilled to see so many of my favorite people out for this event. <3 It was great meeting you eowyn797, abu228, nerologic & bigperf! (I apologize if I'm forgetting anyone, hehe.) I honestly can't remember the last time I met so many cool new people in one night! :happy2: I want to THANK everyone for supporting CIRCUS this past year, we really love you guys!

My only major disappointment was that my brand new LED hula hoop was stolen last night. :( It is white with black tape in a criss-cross pattern (you will see it in many of my photos which I'm posting soon.) If ANYONE has any information about who has it, please let me know. :sadgreen: I'm heartbroken (especially since my other LED hula hoop was broken 3 weeks ago). I know this is really my fault for not paying more attention to my things. I just got so caught up in the night and I feel SO comfortable at CIRCUS that it's easy to forget that shady people are everywhere.

Anyway, I really had an incredible time the first half of the night (before my hoop disappeared). I absolutely LOVED the music in the mainroom, especially Marcus Schossow! :) In fact, the music was so good, I had a really hard time tearing myself away to take photos in the other rooms. :P (Most of the CIRCUS regulars probably preferred the music mainroom also, which is the main reason the other rooms were dead all night, lol) Norin & Rad and Eddie Halliwell were fantastic! I was able to get a lot of great photos in the mainroom which I will be posting shortly! I'm proud to say I spent virtually ZERO time on the patio aside from the TA Meet-Up, which is a first! I can't wait to post the fun group photos we took. :D

Norin and Rad were awesome (yet again). I loved 'Galaxia' and 'Anjunabeach'

Was anyone else expecting more decorations? The confetti cannon was nice, but there didn't seem to be many holiday decorations.

Paul, now you understand why I have to be on my best behavior all the time. ;) I'm bummed out I missed N&R play Galaxia, I love that track!

Everyone who enjoyed Noring & Rad, be sure to come to HOLIDAZE my x-mas party @ CIRCUS 12/26 w/Norin & Rad headlining for 3 HOURS!!! Our very own ShweetuH (a.k.a. SweetNuts LOL) will be opening and one of my all time favorite local DJs Jonathan Morning (from SUNDAIZE*!!) will be closing the mainroom and his awesome crew is hosting the side room. Will be an epic night of MaliaTrance! :tongue2 I can't wait!

P.S. I was DEFINITELY expecting more decorations based on the description the Hands Up LA peeps wrote on the GrooveTickets page, lol. ;) I am of course a HUGE fan of confetti (especially if it's rainbow confetti with money!) Don't worry, the club should be more decorated for HOLIDAZE! I want everyone to dress up with me too! :D

I had a great night overall at the event. I do bitch a lot about events like MM being overcrowded but this one was a little undercrowded. It felt just a bit TOO easy to get right to the front haha. Also Hatiras was dropping some sick beats but that room was EMPTY! Shoulda just had one stage I guess? Circus is freaking huge! If you went through the bathrooms there was another giant room back there. They need to have more big events.

Great meeting Malia and sevak I actually think I met you at the bar toward the front entrance but it was super brief and random.

Whoever made the deadrat 6 shirt and took it off I spent a good amt of time dancing and using it as a poster to show to schossow haha... oh man that guy was a trip. What a jolly guy. I went and talked to him told him I liked "Mr White" and he told me "that was 3 years ago!"... oops. I tried to quickly think of one of his newer tracks but nothing came to my mind. I wanted to buy him a drink so I went and bought him a damn jager bomb for 10$ and then he bounced before I could give it to him. Me and my girlfriend and my other friend sat at his table talking to his manager for like 30 min before it was 2 and they made me just throw it away. Lame! haha.

But anyway I had a great time, Eddie was awesome! First time seeing him and I was impressed with his skills as a DJ/performer - he definitely got the crowd going, especially towards the end. I started many an "eddie" chant myself. He's so freaking british the way he plays super intense trance tracks and yet sings along to the tunes going "bup bup bum bum" with his mouth like he's humming a nice lil tune.

His track selection was pretty good... he played about 10 SVD songs but I love them all so it was all good. Brainbox was awesome too toward the end.

Overall great event just get more ppl down there next time! (Easier said than done, I know ;)

Gonna write a review and post some pics soon!

Eddie Halliwell is the "Freddie Mercury of Trance." He is definitely a performer and showman up there.

I made one.

It was a black tshirt with "Deadrat6" on it, once Marcus took a picture of the shirt and after i took a picture with him i put a button up over the Deadrat6 shirt i was wearing. But after Schossow i was in the neglected house room the rest of the night lol

Absolutely amazing night. Sorry for forgetting his name but the opener was actually quite good. :D He spun some very good tracks in the beginning before Norin & Rad.

Norin & Rad did great. Some new tracks they put in there along with some new mashups and like always they played their Man On The Run vs Formentera What mashup which is absolutely beautiful =). They dropped one of their new songs which was just incredible!

Marcus Schossow came up a little later than expected but he really brought the house down. I listen to his Tone Diary a lot and did not expect for him to play such a powerful set. Guess I can't take radio shows in to consideration when it comes to live sets =)

Eddie Halliwell is just an amazing performer. I kept telling everyone that night that Eddie isn't a great DJ, HE IS DJ! :D I love how he just cuts most of the songs he plays up and makes it work! You never see stuff come from a DJ that doesn't produce =) Way to do Eddie!!! :D

Hope to see you all for Rank 1 and on Dec 26th for Holidaze where myself, Norin & Rad, and Jonathan Morning will be playing the night away in the main room! Possibly this Saturday for Josh Allen's night!
