i thought the "j" was silent, like "jalapeno"?? huh, maybe it's different with girl's names in spanish. well, bill-ash, i can't stress enough that it can't hurt to hit her up and see what's up with her. that's all i'm sayin. |

Oh yeah you're right Josie is the American version.. so spanish version must be pronounced "ho-see". |

| Joseph is short for Josepha or Josephine up here. There was a resident at my work named Jose. Her full name was Josepha but she preferred we call her Joseph or Jose. |
