Two moves ago, I had a limited set of boxes to fit all my stuff in, and half of it was fragile. I succeeded, with just barely enough space to spare. It was just like Tetris. I had no dead space left in the boxes. It was a bitch to unpack though because I had random stuff in every box, from every room, just because I had to make maximum use of space regardless of categories the stuff belonged to.

Haha, well...I have no shortage of boxes that's for sure. I just get 'em for free from the bf's warehouse. I don't even mind packing...it's unpacking and putting away that I dread.
kamil
you're all sluts.

Alright, now what about everything that's not clothes?

I hate moving. God. I'm technically living in 4 places now because I'm too lazy to officially move out of any 1 place but but but the good thing about moving is you're able to get rid of all the stuff you don't really need and organize what you decide to keep.

Silky Johnson
I agree...although I don't keep I don't need to begin with. I let go of the need to keep stuff when we sold our house 10 years ago, with all the contents in it. All my childhood toys, books, games, school projects, etc...gone.

I wish I wasn't so young when we sold it though...my sister and I would have have the foresight to keep our beautiful dining set and china hutch...AND all the china my grandmother sent from Hungary.

Oh well.

i think i might be the only person i know who actually enjoys moving... which is probably a good thing, considering i've moved 13 times in the last 9 years.

moving gives me the same feeling i get when i'm in airports - that perpetual motion of coming and going and exploring new destinations or returning home to people who care about you. i don't like staying in the same place for long.
