Here is one.
#1 - Mango (along with MANY others) uses FLS to produce. He doesn't even have a MIDI controller. Perhaps you could pull up some of his music and point out how bad it is? Because there are thousands who have bought his records that would say otherwise.

#3 - You have a lot to learn. There are some very smart people who post on this forum. And no, they don't do it because it makes them money or whatever. They do it because they like talking about music (from all perspectives) - People don't come here to learn how to be the next Armin Van Buuren and rake in millions. We are here, as a community (like any other forum), and enjoy learning and talking with each other. Simple as that. There is no need for you to come in here and start running your mouth the way you did. I think you owe several people in this thread a personal apology. You are way out of line to be acting like this (another reason we need mods....warn people like this that we don't tolerate it, then hit'em with a 24hr)
#4 - I run a record label. I wouldn't release your music if you paid me to. Sorry if that is harsh, but I'm well known for being bluntly honest. |

You know a lot of people would say suli is the one starting here. But this forum is ridiculous with some of the condescending attitudes I see on it.
You all feed into it and instigate him, then get mad at the guy for defending himself.
There are a few very polite, PATIENT guys on this forum. But for the most part I see the same people day in and day out lashing out because "they do this for a living". (or w/e their excuse is)
It doesn't matter who started what, you're all feeding into it like a bunch of children. There are days I come on this forum and tell myself "I'm not getting into an argument" but there is always at least 1 longstanding deushbag who cant keep his fvckn mouth shut about how much he knows or how stupid someone else is.
And I DO NOT see this on other forums. Does this have something to do with just how artists behave? Is it the mods? Cause that is the only thing keeping me here is the fact that one day someone might come in and clean this place up. Really I see it EVERYDAY. And its always an attitude of "I'm better then you". If this doesnt apply to you let it fly, but what is it? Its GOT TO be something about the people this forum attracts. Turn it around on me it doesn't change the fact that this really is getting out of hand.
Ive gone out of my way to actually be nice to s on this forum, who came right back insulting me over the DUMBEST in the world. People will fight with you for liking a fvckn song, (Im not talking about newbies I'm talking about guys who get "recognition" around here) HOW LAME IS THAT?
I REALLY REALLY hope they think as carefully as they can before they finalize the mod/s, because this site is NOT going to last with all the attitudes on it. I'm suprised people still use it as much in the condition its in today.. fvckn disgrace. |

I'm surprised his name isn't "derail."
It doesn't matter whether or not this guy is a troll or not. His rhetoric is clearly nonsensical and doesn't deserve a dignified response. Correctly false remarks is one thing, but ping ponging back personal remarks? It's unnecessary and drowns the forum with more crap.
I don't expect lurkers or occasional forum goers to evade the seductive words of these kinds of poster, but regulars? Come on! |

Thank you. I know you're not writing that for me but my problem is more and more becoming the *regulars* around here and not even the newbies.
This forum is turning into a joke with this .
I'm a member at 3 other forums and never saw this level of hostility on any of them between members. It sickens me when I come here to ask a question about the quality of torrents, and I need to listen to insults from guys who have been here for years.
I never came onto this forum claiming I know something I don't, (which is why I ask a lot of questions) it should be OBVIOUS that I do this for a hobby and not a living, but no matter what I ask there always at least one regular to come in and make a wise ass condescending remark. And then you start with that member, and all his buddies start feeling threatened. I really hope something around here changes soon. This forum has potential to be great but the few sour apples are gonna destroy it, and its RARELY just newbies. |

I understand this, and thats why I don't say anything to you unless I think it could help you.
However Suli just comes out of nowhere acting like he's the next big thing treating us like we're stupid, saying we're all wrong and insulting us, even when it has been proven that we are right.
That's just plain disrespectful.
Sure we could ignore it but the worst part of it all is he's giving misleading information.
I gave him the advice early on to stop posting before he got flamed. He chose to ignore it. Thus, he brought this upon himself. |

Well, your remark could be understood from a certain viewpoint - there is a difference between "focussing on making the kick the loudest element" and the kick actually being the loudest element - which it almost always will be, just by setting the fader where it sounds "right".
Suli came in with misinformation and in the absence of mods, the misinformation needed to be cleared up. |

Robby, in fairness, this forum has helped you a damn lot, and you've asked a lot of questions - I'm glad people helped you (including myself) as you ask serious questions and pose them as to invoke quality and thought out answers.
You have to realise that a lot of ing idiots come on here and talk only having just started some course or just installed FL from a torrent. many of the regulars spend a load of time creating tutorials or helping members who ask decent questions, only for pricks to come along and ask stupid questions that would be answered perfectly if they could be bothered to hit the search button or just read. I gets real boring.
Yes, maybe you got given for asking about torrents, but again you have to realise there are people on here who spend their lives and hard earned food money to make music, only to have it ripped off by some uploading a torrent.
You may have seen less hostility on other forums, but I'm also a member on some other fiorums and what they lack in hostility, they make up in moderation.......and it's not a coincidence....catch my drift?
And bushido - give me some credit, I mentioned mystery's great tutorial in this thread, just didn't post the link as I want people to search, not do the searching for them!!! |
