So in regards to that... Before you come on here saying how bad SvD played last night... WTF did you people expect??? A complete hands in the air uplifting set where every track made you feel like you're flying??? The is SANDER VAN DOORN!!! The best "tech-trance" DJ in the world! And he proved it again last night!! He pounded the out of that place!! He played waaaay better than last time he was here as well. Solid, hard, pounding trance music!! , it blows my mind to think people didn't like his set. You people are ing impossible to please! Sorry to vent, but I thought he played AMAZING! I can't even count how many times I busted a nut on that dance floor because I couldn't believe some of the stuff he was dropping!
Haha! It was a great night; I agree. Haven't been to the guv in about 3 years, so it was a novelty for me much like going out again for the first time -- at least the nostalgia was there.
He dropped some real brain mashing and bowel rupturing techno/tech-trance and there were few tracks that didn't get me moving, even if I was starting to run out of gas personally. I also appreciated some of the more uplifting tracks from later in the night, like Gareth Emery - Exposure.
Only complaint is that I'm not as happy about the overall sound quality. What the hell is with the volume on the bass or the bad mix on the sound? Very muddy sounding. Maybe I'm becoming more of an audiophile or my ears are more discriminating as I get older, but I know the sound could be waaaaaaaaay better in there.
Nice to see some old faces.

What a weekend, what a night! I was out both Friday and Saturday, but Saturday is pure wow!
I haven't been to a trance event in so long, and I am so glad I made it out for SVD. We got there pretty early - around 11:30 or so..Mark Oliver was actually really really really good, but SVD was the best!
Honestly, I didn't know what to expect, but musically the night was 10 out of 10 for me. Loved his set - I loved the banging tracks at the beginning, and the breakdown trance stuff later on. I thought the flow was great, and his energy was contagious! Stayed till about 4:30, which is very late for me haha
Whoever says he is terrible is retarded and has no clue about what a good music really is!
I think I am slowly falling in love with trance again, so hoping to be out a bit more often in the future:)

Bilksem was huge, Touch me was huge. Also thought sander was closing but it is true that nowhere did it say he would be playing 6 hours.
I loved his first 2 hours espcially. Really built his set beautifully. Fantastic crowd reaction throughout, pretty crowd though. This has been a major problem at guvernment lately. Unlimited number of sketchheads with no ing clue other than who they are going to try and pick up next.
oh and mark was brilliant. New remix of Perpetual motion - We are all here together it sounded like. I actually got on a podium for the first time in years. how nostaligic.

Ya I guess it makes sense that I saw most of Mark Oliver's set, but whatever he rocked the house anyways.
I know I enjoyed Sanders set because I heard him pump "RIFF" :D

started off banging!! 90 is a killer tune, never got to hear it live. LOVE IT!
he has so much energy and joy being up on the decks, i can just watch him the whole night and feed off him
i miss hearing tech-trance at guv!!! seriously!! ing love that sound...dropped some techno bombs too. i didn't even mind when he started to play uplifting trance, felt really good :) sent some shivers up n down my body, haven't gotten that feeling since kyau and albert
kinda disappointed that he just finished quickly and got off, everyone was expecting more!! i know that if he would've had another 2 hours he would've dug deeper into his cd binder for some more classics ;)
all in all it was a great night. out of the 6-7 times i've seen him i would place this as #3 on the list. gotta love the free rev, took down like 4 glasses in 10 mins got a good buzz going :haha:
