He mixed in Dj Tiesto's "Louder Than Boom" at around 330 ish. To be honest, it worked alright. There's something catchy in the breakdown melody.
My all around feelings on the set are good; was nice to get a chance to meet him briefly; felt bad for the crazy closeness and mobbing happening - but hey, that's the job, and he should be grateful for it. I'm sure he is.
The set started off well for the most part - a couple "non-event" drops, but all around I had a great time with lots of good ta's so I was more than content. Heard a few really nice techy bangers from the past 6 months or more, which was a pleasure.
One major moment of annoyance? The stupid fog machine during Bliksem's breakdown. Brutal.
Anyways, I dug the set for the most part and had a great time. Good night for me ;)
Edit: I should say, I'm glad I didnt hang around - the only reason I would have was to hear Adrenaline and Hoover. Without these, it would have only been "so so" ;) |

It was a crazy night, really cool getting to meet sander...but i didn't want to hound him like everybody else so i spent most of my time talking to Ovi. The group made a huge circle around him, it kept moving towards the dj booth... I kind of felt sorry for the guy lol.
The music was intense! Oliver did a great opening and of what i heard awesome closing..but i left early, Sander was amazing I've always been a fan of him and have seen him a bunch of times but he just keeps getting better & better. The sound system was incredible and clear,bass didn't sound too distorted at all. The guy just does not stop smiling massive build ups with crazy drops!, Thank you J for the wristband. |

Oh man did I have a great time. What he spun up that night reaffirmed why he's one of my favorite trance DJs. I think this is one of the few rare nights I didn't stray off to The Gallery or The Drink. I met so many of you TAs and a few FB ppl that recognised me. Also I chat quite a bit with some of you which was unusual as I usually keep to myself. I wish I could have chat with him at the meet and greet, but I didn't make the list... oh well next time I guess.
The picture you see above is from the video I'm piecing together and I hope I can get it up by next week some time (very busy at work as usual). |
