Another pretty run of the mill late 90's / early 00's progressive set from me. Some really played out stuff in here but hopefully it's enjoyable. I mainly just wanted to post this as I'd been trying to work on it for a while and hit a "writer's block" kinda thing and I'm weird about finishing things I start, so I just hacked it out. I was also not very happy with my last set and felt like giving this style another stab. Definitely need a lot more practice, I feel.

Enjoy.

Tracklist looks pretty obvious. And by obvious, I mean awesome.

Okay. Gave it a listen and found it very enjoyable.

Definitely good track selection, I've used a few of those songs in set's in the last few months myself, and actually will be posting a mix I did a while ago shortly that also closes with Imagine.

I thought the mixing was very good. I'd say excellent except for a few places where, to me at least, it was a little bit too obvious of a new track coming in. That said, it did nothing to detract from the groove or feel, so no worries.

One thing though: I felt a lack of energy with this. It was very relaxing, which I like, but I didn't feel that there was any progression or big moments in it. Maybe that was the idea, I don't know. And don't take that the wrong way and think I didn't think it was good. I just prefer a bit more driving and energy, myself.

Very good mix all together though. Good work mate!

Thanks Lews, glad you enjoyed it.

One thing I've made a point of working on lately is being a little more dynamic with my track selection. It's not the first time I've been told my set doesn't really "go" anywhere. Still got a ways to go though, my programming skills aren't really up to snuff in my mind.

Looks like a solid mix of familiar favorites and stuff I don't know. I'm downloading and will check it out, this style of music is my absolute favorite!

Tracklist looks promising enough. I'm gonna download this and listen it when I have more time (= later this week) and I try to give some comments after I have listened this one.
