There's only one guy left on the Phillies that we need to dominate and thus we can say we shut down the whole team. Werth had his chances last night against CC, Chase got shut down by AJ and Andy he's hit CC well hats off to him but in fairness us Yankee fans know CC is struggling yet still working like a horse.
Tonight Cliff Lee goes down and we dance on your field Philly. Then off to the Canyon for the parade...let's do this baby.

if the yankees do go on and win the world series
the top of the 9th in last nights game was probly a big reason why
between damon's stolen base and then makeing that smart move by noticeing no one was at 3rd and going there
then a-rod's hugeeeeee clutch double to take the lead
followed by more clutch hitting by posada, and they were all done against the philly's closer
2nights pitching matchup is going to be a duel
both of these guys dominated in the first games they pitched
2nights game should be a good one

Yep, you are correct, and Lidge has sucked this entire season with closing out games. No way can we come back 3 straight games, so
