there can be some quality collabs between edm world and the hip hop world, sadly it will probably remain underground as well, example:

This one does have more of a loungy feel (as Capitol crosses from hip hop to house/ambient), but beats the crap of that tiesto track

I hate when people say that's where the $$ is at. I'm not sure that he was exactly poor or making low money when he release isos 7 ( Which I believe is an amazing album ). Even tho I'm not a big armin fan, I think he still stays in his "genre" of music like he always did and I don't think he's poor aswell. It doesn't show that he's smart for going for the $$, it just shows he lacks music integrity. Deep down inside he probably knwos that it's ing crap.

Tiesto has been playing housier stuff for a long time
He still plays trance to keep his fan base who encouraged him in the first place, and that's why his last 2 hours at each show is very good trance
But he made the right decision by going mainstream in my opinion
