ive heard some bad stuff in my life but that just tops it
what was he thinking. It sounds very bad.

or he's going even furter into pop music which will bring him an even bigger crowd.

I hear that being a sellout means you want to have even more fans ...
WittyHandle
Sounds like he's following in Oakenfold's footsteps when he worked with Crazy Town.

You can soon expect to hear the defense "This will only help the dance scene by introducing new blood".

That's a Grammy right there!

That black guy at 36 seconds is rolling hard.:eyespop:

Why is it artistic suicide?

I don't see the difference between remixing Sarah Mcaughlan or rappers.

He just made the wise move of getting out of trance while he could. And follow in the steps of Guetta that probably makes more money.

It's not better or worst than anything you hear on mix96. Daft Punk made a similar collaboration with West, the result just sucked a little less.

When you are at this level of money, your life, the people you hang out with, the agents, the tours...

... trance is the last thing on your mind.

I was under the impression that Kanye just sampled them, not an actual collaboration. Am I wrong?

And that sucked too imo, albeit less.
Ravemontreal
Well they are in the video, they probably gave him what he needed or remixed themselves. It is a collaboration.
WittyHandle
Well, giving someone the parts of your track to use does not a collaboration make. That's sampling. However, if they were in the video, that's one step closer.

I agree with your original point though. He's a business man making a smart financial move. As long as he can keep the wool over the eyes of his fans that he's doing it for the love of music.

i find it rather entertaining how he states so ya i wrote this techno track and they liked the groove so the wrote all the lyrics...

it sounds more like electro if you ask me

I was thinking that too. It's a middle ground between the two genres where both parties can profit.

Maybe it's just where I live, but that's what I see kids getting into these days. Grungy electro and wobbly dubstep.
